[There's a staticky blur of green and red on the screen, and then it shakes like someone's tapping the side of it. The irate, muttering voice that comes through is decidedly not Ivy's.]
Oh for the love of - you'd think the future would be a little bit more intuitive? Come on -
[The picture clears aaaand Shego will be recognisable to anyone who was around before August. She's not really looking older, but decidedly healthier than she did on the Barge; her hair's pulled back into a thick braid and she's wearing a red jacket with a gold Star Fleet insignia on the collar. She looks bewildered for a moment, glancing away from the camera to look at recent transmissions, and her eyebrows lift in recognition.]
Oh. Oh, hey.
[She looks back to the camera and smirks, leaning back in her chair a little.]
Hey, kids. Never thought I'd be around for one of these from this end. How's my very favorite flying rehabilitative facility?
...aaand sorry to whoever's update I just totally ruined, I guess.
[OOC: Ivy's purposely staying away from this event except to creep on other people's messages so have Shego!haxx instead. B| Having said that, do let me know if you want Ivy for anything and I'll make her available!]

at some point I will want Ivy :c
How is Starfleet treating you?
She will soon be drawn thither by your pointy face T'Pol
[50% of Shego's time is spent nudging boundaries to find out where they are. No formal disciplinaries yet! Yaaay.]
You still on the Barge?
man she needs to meet other Vulcans, she'd hate them much more
eyebrowsface.] I imagine Captain Kirk felt the same. No, I'm not. [And she shifts, so the camera can take in the view out the window.] We're on Vulcan, currently.

Wow. So 'we' is you and Trip, right?
no subject
And Elizabeth.

[Kirk blabbed about the fact that T'Pol and Trip had a kid but he'd said she was dead, sooooo now she knows what your deal was for...?]
no subject
She is. We'll be leaving for Florida in a few days; it's fortunate this glitch came now. [Because trying to find some quiet privacy with Trip's family is just. not something she expects to happen.]
no subject
[Slightly ambiguous tone because ahaha the flipside of this new arrangement is no family ever B|]

Trip's family has yet to meet Elizabeth. [And also you know they might like to know that their son's alive :v]
What department do you believe you'll be joining?
Private/Voice
How is Elizabeth?
[No sarcasm, no bitterness, just as close as Ivy gets to legitimate concern for something bipedal.]
Private/Voice
Very well. There has been no sign of cellular breakdown; whatever technical flaw that first took her from us has been solved. She is healthy. [She isn't monotone by far, but it's so much easier to talk about Elizabeth's death now that it more or less never happened.]
And you, Ivy? Are you well?
Private/Voice
[Read: nope.]

It was not you I found tiresome; it was the Barge. In fact, I have a great deal of hope for you, though it's obvious you don't. I'm only sorry we weren't assigned earlier. [Before the Barge wore her the fuck down.]
Private/Voice
[This in a tone that says 'I would not use this man's corpse as fertilizer', and not for the obvious reason that Bruce's blood and tissue would kill everything in a mile radius.]

Is there another warden whom you would prefer?
Private/Voice
[She makes a harsh, frustrated sound.]
You have, and I suppose had, hope for me. What you didn't have was the smug self-assurance that once I'd recovered from my silly girlish misapprehensions about the world around me, you'd be able to claim your prize from the Admiral - and that in the meantime, if a fellow Inmate attempted to strangle me there'd be no need to so much as ask if I was bruised.
[It's not the detachment or the apathy that bothers her; it's the two in concert that she can't stand.]
Private/Voice
Would his concern mean anything to you, if he did express it?
