She watched her forest slaughtered and called it compromise. Hundreds of years ago she made a truce with a man who had nothing to offer her, out of pity, and he repaid her with the slow inevitable exploitation of her family.  Of everything that she was.  And in exchange for petty, fleeting pleasures, she accepted it. 

I am not her. I will never be her. And I do not apologize.

I'll be by soon. [Taking it as a foregone conclusion that he'll find someone to let him in anyway AND ONCE TOSH TAKES CARE OF THAT he'll just be strolling down to her cell. He'd stage a break out, but rly, where would they go.]

[Where indeed. Ivy comes to the bars of her cell; a day or two into her captivity she still seems strong, and she's recently thought to wash off Blake's blood so she doesn't look completely disgusting either.]

[It doesn't really matter if it's true or not. Nobody would take her word over Blake's, but nobody would take Blake's word over hers either.]

[All that matters, really, is that she says it. She's dangerous, and he kind of likes that.]

Good. [He doesn't even really care what Blake did, right now - well okay, if he knew he would be angrier - but as far as he's concerned, the Comedian deserved it from the moment he opened his mouth.]
